Visioning

Our visioning process has been developed and tested with congregations, secular and sacred non-profits and businesses. It is dynamic and adaptable. It fits any culture, every context and grows from your unique calling in your community.

Looking Up

Our process begins with prayer. We seek God’s guidance for our future. We come to Him with open hands, open minds, open ears, open eyes and open hearts. It is a reflective process where we seek the Lord and His leading.

Looking Back

With hearts and minds attuned to God in prayer, we spend time reflecting on where we’ve come from. We learn from the past. We explore major events in the life of the community. We grow in a shared understanding of who we are, and why we find ourselves here, now.

Looking In

Having grown in our awareness of God’s call and equipped with a shared understanding of the past, we get to know each other. Entertaining and engaging exercises help participants see themselves and each other in a new light. As we grow closer, barriers are lowered, and we are enabled to listen well to make the most of our time discovering God’s plan for our shared endeavors.

Looking Forward

In light of God’s calling, rooted in community, and strengthened in each other, we plot a bold and faithful course into the future! This is where the rubber meets the road in our visioning process. Guiding and values statements are carefully articulated. We create an actionable plan. We make decisions and implement methods and means to achieve the vision God has given you!
